• There is a constant need for families who will provide hospitality for students. Contact us to learn more.
• Laurel is beginning to receive responses regarding PhD applications for the 2016-17 school year. So many details are involved in this process including finding acceptance from a mentor in ethnomusicology, relocating our household and ministry and attending to Leta's needs post high school.
• We ask for God's wisdom to deal with ever-increasing numbers of Chinese students and their families. Especially, we need good communication with the local churches and administration to provide a welcome picnic for all international students arriving each August.
• Our new co-worker, Ming-chi (Mickey) Chuang, is seeking additional financial support to complete her partnership team and to seek permanent resident status. If you would like to consider supporting Mickey, we'd love to introduce her!

Locally, International Friendship Connections (IFC) serves through a dozen local churches to provide everything from airport pickups to baby showers for international students and their families. Through practical and helpful ways, American families build personal relationships with international students. If you are interested in learning more, contact us.
